Important Information for Applicants

Welcome to the Rough Trade application process. It is quick, easy and relatively painless. However, it is absolutely necessary for you to complete the application process in order to join the guild:

Step 1: Please read our guild Charter. You will find it under the Guild heading in the left side menu area of this site. All members are required to agree to it.

Step 2: You will need to create an account on this site before your application can be reviewed. Click on "Create an Account" in the top right menu area of this site and fill in the boxes with the correct information. Look for an email within a few minutes from the website. Follow the confirmation link in that email.

Step 3: Next, complete the application below. Please make sure to answer all questions - unfortunately, your application may be rejected if you do not answer all the questions.

Step 4: Wait for an email response to your application. If it has been more than a few days with no response, check your spam folder or talk to an officer in-game.

Step 5: While you wait for your application to be processed, you may want to create one or more characters on this site. To do this, log into the site with your account information. You will see a new link in the top right corner under your username which says “create a character” and add your character’s name and details. After you finish, you should see that character listed under your account name on the top right portion of the screen.

Step 6: When you receive an acceptance, please follow the instructions in your email as to the next steps, including how to go about getting an invite to the guild from an officer in-game.

Rough Trade is a mature social guild that is primarily intended for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender players and their straight friends. Please explain why you want to join Rough Trade?

Have you ever been a member of Rough Trade previously? If so, please list the characters and the reasons why you left.

Are you CURRENTLY a member of any of the other GLBT-affiliated guild or groups in any MMORPG? If so, which groups in which game? (Ex: The Spreading Taint in WoW) Please list your primary name in those games in case a reference is needed.

How did you hear about Rough Trade and what led you to our website? If referred by a friend in the Legion, please list their character or forum name.

Please let us know any other relevant information concerning your application and any comments you may have.

Please indicate that you understand that if any of the statements above are found to have been answered dishonestly it is grounds for immediate removal from the Legion.
